Task files

Each task is a .md file in ai-shared-brain/tasks/backlog/, tasks/in-progress/, or tasks/done/. The folder determines status — frontmatter status: may lag. Move the file to change status.

Frontmatter

which site / initiative this belongs to

created: YYYY-MM-DD

when the task was filed

priority: high | medium | low

optional; omit for unranked

Add a task

Tell Claude: "add a task for X". Claude creates the .md file in the right folder and commits to the brain repo. Or write it manually — filename = kebab-case title.

Refresh

In a Claude Code session, ask: "refresh the tasks dashboard". Claude runs:

pwsh ~/.claude/scripts/refresh-tasks-dashboard.ps1
